Highland Park is a 397-unit project within the Bel-Red corridor in Bellevue, WA and is designed to bridge the wooded park and community play fields to the west and south with the faster-paced urban life along NE 20th Street.
Leisure / Tourist Development
With the growth of Chinese cities and the ubiquitous business environment, there is a need for places of leisure and retreat to move closer and even be integrated within urban areas. Shanghai Bayfront aims to combine the leisure characteristics of a beach environment with the diversity of an urban one.
Mixed-Use Apartments
21 Boston prioritizes the pedestrian experience by preserving the character of its distinct neighborhood to create 325 units of housing above a approximately 50,000 square-foot Safeway. 21 Boston provides a high-quality mixed-use complex where approximately 20 percent of the residential units will be affordable residences.
Welcome Center / Office Building
Campbell’s Soup HQ is a new employee center in Camden, NJ. In the company’s ongoing effort to represent innovation, progression, and stimulation of local economic growth, the Campbell’s Company wanted to construct a cutting-edge and ecologically friendly structure to house employee services and act as the “front door” to the corporate campus.
Corporate Headquarters
The Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) Tower plays on the typical typology of the podium and tower configuration. The tower is composed of two shifting bands that create a seamless transition between tower and podium; as well as, divide the typical singular monolithic tower into circulation / public spaces and private spaces.
Multifamily Apartments
Located in the Bel-Red neighborhood, a subarea of Bellevue, WA, Ondina is a 249-unit project adjacent to the future Bel-Red light-rail station. The building massing and architectural design are influenced by the local context of a rapidly transforming neighborhood with industrial roots.
Mixed-Use Commercial Development
The Gateway Center in New Songdo City forms the entry into the new metropolis. The Gateway Center forms a unique solution to individuality within a group dynamic by using an architectural language of similarity while developing differentiating techniques as identifiers or identities.
Affordable Housing & ELC Center
Located in one of the most racially diverse neighborhoods of Seattle, the MLK Family Housing project will bring 148 residential units into a rapidly densifying area surrounding the Othello Link Light Rail Station.
Ski / Tourist Resort Development
Secret Gardens: 5th Valley is a Ski Resort Masterplan for Chongli, China located just outside of Beijing. Designed as a multi-seasonal exclusive resort, 5th Valley is the final resort within the series of the entire Secret Gardens development.
Living / Civic Space
An attic extension to an existing home in Singapore. Using the typological diagram of primitive dwelling and local planning parameters, the extension creates a playful form that produces a dramatic termination to the existing home.
Princeton University - Admin. Office Building
701 Carnegie Center West is a build-to-suit office building for Princeton University . The 120,000 square foot building is a close cousin to the existing buildings within the campus but updated to reflect the project’s emphasis on leading edge innovation and environmentally conscious building techniques.
Roof Deck Pergola
A roof-top pavilion as an extension to an existing home in Singapore. The pavilion uses a radiating serial structure to produce and protect the exterior social gathering space.
Urban Infill: Housing / Hostel Study
68 Koon Seng is a feasibility study of a narrow lot along Kong Seng Road. Design options were developed for a hostel or apartment complex to provide insight into the economic viability of the site. Using planning regulations and building codes for each type, various typologies were developed to bring a modern solution to a diverse neighborhood.
